Earth Hour

Participated in Earth Hour yesterday, but my family did more, we switched off all non-essential electrical appliances and went down to the Neighbourhood park, flooded by government lighting (same goes for corridors), I am wondering whether they even have a PAP rally on that that day. It is pretty disgusting to see that even though many people are taking steps to save the World, the ones who are screwing things up have a shitload of power, I do not wish to see my kids grow up, hating my generation for giving them a spherical hellhole to live in.

Thursday:

Went to the Home team academy for the classification shoot, I met a few of my Ubin camp group mates, briefly... and I was the only male in my squad who got the Marksman (or Marksperson to be politically correct) along with Sariza, not surprisingly, many failed (the godforsaken revolvers kept jamming, while I almost shat myself during the shooting, especially when they moved the targets to 15 meters after the 1st 8 rounds.).You might think that it is a good thing to get the badge, but it is not when you are the only guy to get it. [On the bus journey back to school, I was ragged, plus, I had to treat the whole squad to a cup of bubble tea each! :( ]

Friday:

I screwed up my CME project (Possible goodbye to my gold civil defence badge.), and I had to go for some RDA meeting during FT, argh! I am already busy enough! (Speech day....podcast competition...etc...etc.).
During NPCC, we were late and got a tongue lashing for that. During the LCP/CPL retest, our drills completely SUCKED! We only managed to have 2 tested before getting a lesson on static turning and another tongue lashing. (Although then, I had to meet up with Miss Ho and Kai (From the committee of a certain charity project) ) The whole unit went up to the library for a talk on the project (Disgustingly, some members in my squad are either not interested or annoyed by this, ironically, this was my brainchild.) . I hope things get better, after talking with Miss Ho.
During PT, which was surprisingly fast, I managed to do more than 3 proper push ups, Woo Hoo!! To ruin the euphoria, my squad's Aishah mdm, gave us a tongue lashing during the debriefing, I feel disgusted about myself...

At the end, only a handful of us went to our usual hangout, must be the bad day we had today......I hope for more optimism next time.

At our usual Hangout, I asked for my Green Apple ice-blended to be poured into my water bottle, making it troublesome for her as the larger opening of my bottle is quite small. (Please ignore Gaston's finger.)

In a blink of an eye, the March holidays are halfway gone.

Sunday:

Just came back from March Camp, I just want to SLEEP, and instead ended up watching Matrix: Reloaded until 1:00am

Tuesday:

Screwed up the Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition (SAFMC), no further comment.

Wednesday:

This is where the serious typing comes in.
Woke up at around 9:38, washed up and used the PC for around 30 mins before meeting up with my NPCC ppl at Macdonalds (Bedok interchange), with my cooler, 12 minutes late.

Bought most of our supplies before (Yes, everyone) going back to my home to prepare and slack.(Some of us had to leave for some NPCC meeting in school.)

Had my maid help to marinate the chicken while we Bollywooded and X-boxed our way to 2:30pm, then, we took a taxi (No, two taxis) to East Coast Park, pit 54, (Located near (well...not so) the Food Village (Add in the inverted commas))

As we set up the BBQ, the guys who had to go back to school, came, and we started the mind-boggling task of starting the fire. Then, Zhun Yi and I had to rent 2 bikes and ride all the way in search for some ice and beverages. (The first stall was a freaking scam while the other was much cheaper.) When we came back, the BBQ was in full swing, lovely. We made a phone call to Aishah (Cake) Mdm and sang a birthday song for her, caught it on video. (And Seng Wei got a shiny new haircut btw)

Soon, I found my classmates (non-NP) at a neighbouring pit, they had a smaller pit for the class BBQ, and they had more ppl attending, lovely. After a few hours of eating and drinking and roasting, we played with Bhalaji's cricket bat and a tennis on the beach, it was really fun, we only had one aim, to try to hit the ball with the GODDMANED BAT! Then, as expected, the boys dumped me into the sea...

I soon sustained a cut on my neck when I tried to do the same to Seng Wei, it felt strange and stinging, plus my throat was constricted, urgh......

Later on, we so-called restarted the BBQ and tried to finish as much as we could, not enough, while I visited my class' BBQ, and nope, I did not freeload, I did not have the appetite.

We soon finished the BBQ at around 10.00, had fun walking to a 'nearby' overhead bridge and crossed, before splitting up and going home. I had to shower and disinfect my wound, in incredible pain, I do hope it gets better.

Finally, the Night Safari!

The Man who took tons of photographs during the trip and could spam flashes at anyone in a second, including me!)

I rushed home in the rain, rushed in washing up and eating, and waited for Bhalaji in my Dad's car (Oh, he got a new one.) And was the earliest to get to the rendezvous point (Changi Simei CC) Otherwise, the starting was quite smooth.

After meeting up with the rest of the RDAs (With Mr Jit and Mdm Raudzah) who are going, and Firdaus coming the latest, we got on a bus with a few other people for the 40 minute long journey, with Firdie and I talking about politics.'

When we reached the Night Safari, I did not expect it to be filled with tourists (Silly me...). We had a group photo which was REALLy rushed because there was another tourist bus coming. Then, we went past all the shops and went into the 'Private room' (Suggestive?) of one of the restaurants. We had a buffet (was supposedly multi-racial, I will give it to them, but sashimi?) and a quiz at the same time, in which I was selected because I was the fastest eater...bloody-hell...

After that we had a tour on one of those Trams (by the way, isn't the web page a bit shiny....(Look up!)), It was horrible trying to take pictures without any flash, the picture with the tapir below, It was at FULL exposure and it was just beside the tram, lovely. (Not enough..)

I was actually sitting with Firdaus and 2 other Media and Promo (I mean infocomm) people, but they were swearing away, criticizing anything and everything so much that I move to Bhalaji's row at the back while the Tram was still moving, what a relief!
When the tour ended, we (Nopphinpat, william, Bhala and I) acted as we had no life and well....checked out the 'Glow in the Dark' store. We tried out one of the Ghoul masks, but the
prices were astronomical, DAMN!
We had to go back to the buses, and this time, the trip was EXTRA rowdy, with all the lively people at the back (Where I was.) I was really glad when we got back to Simei.....
When I got home, well.....there isn't much to say really......

Boring boring boring........want to know more?

Today's lessons were like usual, although I waited in vain for the Geography papers. And I did something stupid to S.C during English class, by removing his chair when we had to stand up to greet our Eng teacher. And Yan Zhong brought something special for show & tell today, his imaginary friend Rupert, it was so interesting and funny that he got a Band 3, how wonderful is that?

At NPCC, no need for a full-u today ('YEAH!') and we had a combined UG sing'a'long. After that was a PT that was really rushed and some games. After that was some 'Sweettalk' (I bought some commie-I mean chinese carbonated apple juice, which I shook and sprayed into the air.) Discussions about our squad outing was a bit messed up and hilarious, but we did get some headway.

Finally it was Roti prata near the Bedok Stadium with Shan Leong (Who happens to be a primary school schoolmate) before going home. (Not before we had a conversation, wait....it dosen't fit in...)

Damn, this is not good, not good at all....

Yesterday and today, I've gotten my English and Social Studies papers, both scored 13/25 (F**K!). I 'couldn't' wait to see what happens when I tell my mother, I am just glad the whole class did not do well as a whole. At least the add maths paper isn't as difficult as I thought it will be(Burning the midnight oil worked!) .

On the brighter side, I am supposed to get a prize (Well 2 prizes) for speech day, (Top in History AND English, I told you that I have a title to defend), and the rehearsals come before the UG parade, Damn! (Especially when I am in the Guard of Honour.) I hope all goes well, I even had to cancel a trip to see my Pri 6 form teacher for this.

During the afternoon, I had to miss PDS training because of my PE project, which is due in a few weeks, URGH! At least I have got some headway....

And just to cheer you up from all this crap, look at the video at the bottom of this sentence.
