I've finally had my braces taken out today, as compared to my other friends, this was one year overdue. (Thanks to CCA, commitments and stuff like that) Anyway, I thought that my appointment was at 4pm (it was supposed to be at 2:10pm, ***k!), and after finding out that I was late, I had to wait for 2 stinking hours! Plus I was the last patient of the day, lovely..... After the nurse (finally!) called my name, I had to go for a shitload of things (removal of braces...preparation of the molds....cleaning (that was the worst)...and the photo shoot (belay that, this IS the worst)) before having to go for some X-ray.

Anyway....my teeth feels very strange right now, like how Limmin describes it, slimy, smooth and glossy, plus my gums feel like they are swollen. BLEAH! Anyway, a week later I will have to put on a set of retainers so it's not the end of my dental misery.

(You see, it went with me to all sorts of places!)

However...I am starting to miss my braces right now. It was accompanied me for 2+ years of my BVSS life. Besides, i am really used to the "white and nerdy" look they "gave" me. It has been my oral companion (sounds damn wrong) for the sec 2/3 camps, STC/ATC, CH
nina, Japan, Vietnam....and everywhere else. Oh well.....guess life has to go on like nobody's business. 1 week till retainers, 2 days till CT1, which is worse?

HRC post, finally!

Finally, the HRC POST, you guys better fill up my Cbox ah!

Was late in getting to Changi Jetty, had to miss the bumboat carrying my squadmates to Pulau Ubin. Luckily, Sariza, Zhun Yi and myself (They were also late) were able to get to the island with the Bedok South cadets (bless them, even though I have doubts in god :P).

After a 1/2 hour trek upon reaching Ubin, we finally reached Camp Resilience :) On the way there, we saw the Bedok Town cadets on the way there in a van.....bloody hell.....

So, once we reached Camp R (As i will call it from now on), met up with the other guys, had a few briefings (with SL as our lovely "model") before we set off.

1st station: The "Pamper pole", a very high pole with a trapeeze, very simple, just climb, try your best to balance yourself on the pole (which I failed to do so) and take a leap of faith (a.k.a. try to reach the trapeeze without falling off). I managed to reach it (thank goodness I was the very 1st cadet to jump, other trapeeze was sweaty like hell afterwards), tried 2 pull-ups, sang part of the national anthem upon request (yes, I really did) and "flew" down.

2nd station: the Flying fox, it was not as scary as I thought it will be (since the bloody tower is so damn high above ground), and Tzu Ying mdm was right, the climb up WAS irritating, you get higher and higher and you cannot hold on to the railings due to the MASSIVE amounts of bird poop on them, YUCK! Was in the 2nd pair to go off, with Seng Wei, the instructor actually commanded us to jump off so we did not need much determination to make our ansatz into true "manliness". Actually wanted to shout "Feet 1st into hell!" like during my STC (which got me into not so hot water) but the 1st few miliseconds were so (frightening?) that I shouted "Sieg Heil!" instead. (Don't worry, it means hail victory, unlike Heil Hitler) As we waited to be "rescued" after having our fun, my ****s hurt like ****! Seesh!

3rd station: The tunnel, which is so damned dark, so damned stuff and hot, plus there is a pool of plastic balls to simulate water, has two sections, the starting with a downwards slope and the next section (after the pool) with an upwards one. Was really fun and nerve-racking, but it soon got irritating Firdie kept dragging everyone in front of him down into the pool and I had to go back into the tunnel after getting out. (imagine now damned slippery the tunnel was by then :P)

4th Station: The dangle duo, looks easy at 1st, but is in fact quite a challenge when you are in a pair (especially when your partner is not as agile as a monkey). Went up with Firdie and he fell out on the 3rd step. I managed to solo till the 4th before I was called to come down.....damn....

5th Station: The challenge rope course, when for one with the skateboard thingy and stuff. It was the 'scariest' of all the courses in Camp R, even though it is not the highest. After the whole course, I did not feel it during the course and right afterwards, but my arms were soon numb and DEAD! I cannot even go for ladderman duty because of it. Some CI from Chai Chee saw me and said that I was some future CI or something like that, he can dream on man, I'm just super enthu at times, that's all......

Finally, when everything was over, we had our debrief, and we had to trek back to the jetty while some other schools (including BTSS) went there by van, ****! At least we got some exercise, plus Syafiq got into trouble when he supposedly spat in the bumboat, was so bloody irritated with the boat man that I made farting sounds everytime he tried to be some saint.

On the mainland, had some ice-cream, before having our discusson about March Camp and stuff (we had a bit of a conflict then) before heading for makan. You will not believe what we saw there......

Dad soon came, gave Bhala and Firdie (get the message of the pics above yet?) a lift before bringing me to dinner (crap, I just had my makan.......) Any, below are some more pics of the HRC

I'm back from M'sia, and I am recovering from the effects of the cold I got on the way home by bus yesterday. If anyone is into schadenfreude, now is the time...... Went to Mr Ng's place with Arvin and Bhalaji, his place stinks of wealth! (Any commies here can look away now...) Managed to win 10 cents in poker and blackjack (or is it because no one wanted to accept my 1RM note) with Wesley, Lucas and the two guys mentioned before. Afterwards we fooled around with Mr Ng's PS3, I seriously need to get MoH: Airborne for my 360 now.....even though it is definitely not this year's zeitgeist of the x-box world.....

Need to do my schoolwork now, shit, look at the time, cya.

I'm Malaysia right now (Pangkor Island, Perak state to be exact), weather's scorching hot over here.....the Maritime effect we learnt in pure Geog is NOT working! Got a few red packets, almost every single one of them are in Malaysian RM (damn, must divide the value by 2.4). Most of my relatives are gambling right now, will join them soon, as soon as I am done with this... and maybe I will fool around with some firecrackers as well....they are not as fun as when I first played with them, guess everyone's too grown up for them. At least I am not suffering from my allergies like ytd, sneezing for the whole goddamned day...yeesh :P

Been a while since my last post, wanted to post something about last Saturday's HRC, but never got around to completing it. Maybe I will finish it when I come back from Malaysia.

Today was okay I guess, the Chpt 13 test was surprisingly easy, think I will get a passing grade (since I think I've missed out some impt pts) though..... After that, more homework to do, thank god (wait, I am being a hypocrite here...) that Mrs Haffidz (or is it Mdm Nazimah) did not give us any.

In the afternoon, that was when shit actually managed to hit the ceiling fan. Some buggers checked my SMSes again, thus I tried to lock my phone. Unfortunately, my phone got locked (I have no freaking idea about the PIN) and as I tried to hack it, the phone rejected my SIM card (A.K.A busted it), F**K!

During NPCC, the timetable was screwed up again. Non-friday trainings are seriously a bleeding headache! Cannot use this area, cannot use that area.....BASKET LAH! For the 1st session, we had to improvise, Poker card PT in a small patch of grass next to the soccer field. After that, I had to help out in the Japan Trip presentation (damned impromptu). After that, we managed to make use of the hall for the games session, Firdie helped to improvise things, it's a wonder what you can do with a deck of poker cards and a ****load of imagination.

CNY celebrations tomorrow, hope the CIP will be fun, hope I get to meet some of my Pri school classmates, and I do hope to enjoy myself in Malaysia this CNY.

Now......where's my SS textbook?

Today stank of Napalm, rancid chinese dishes and other crap that probable smells bad. First up, I screwed up my E-maths test on Chapter 12, it really sucks (something..), can't help it. All thanks to the flu I've got right after the S3 camp. The UG trip to Japan was in a few days time, so....I had to miss out on chapter 12 and 13. The fact that those chapters are in CT1 just screws things up even more.

Next up, add maths, lagging behind, again! Shoot, better start mugging again.

After that, Joshua cut my queue, infantile piece of coagulated uselessness, just because I went into the queue right before you dosen't mean you can try to be some big shot (of Desker road maybe....)

Later in the afternoon, had to help Mr Jit in printing out the certificates for tomorrows swearing in ceremony, I cannot even print out one freaking document! Plus the guys who did it before me did not do a very good job. When Mr Jit came down, he was PISSED off. He was talking to me as if he was scolding me instead, shoot.......

At home, asked my mom to buy some printer ink cartridges (they did not them buy in the past "'cos they were too ex"). The 'pig' (my sis) soon tried to give me a shitty lecture on how I should use the school's computers to print instead, ****ing female swine, think I have a choice is it? Don't tell me that I have all the time in the World, and stop comparing my school to yours, don't forget that you got in using DSA scum! Let me summarise all this into one 2 second video.
