Okay, my blog is too wordy ( or something), happy?

Today is almost as usual, except that during assembly I got my cert of appreciation for some total defence thing, plus some total defence videos. Was supposed to skip PDS training today for some PE project where a few of my classmate were supposed to come over to my place, but because of some NCC thing (last minute), 2 of my teammate cannot make it. Bloody hell...at least I did not suffer in maths remedial, which ate into our PDS time.

In PDS, we (Bhala and I) were personally taught by Wei Yang (IC or sir or clown or flasher or botak, not sure, never mind.) from the NCC, which was in my opinion (No offence guys) more engaging than normal, we laughed, ran, and got screamed at, but overall, it was quite fun (But I do not think it is supposed to be funny.). I am now tired and I JUST want to be rid of my two ulcers and SLEEP.

I cried, yes I cried, got a problem?!

Today's lessons were not so great, except for the show & tell shit that we had during English (Don't ask!) I had lunch with a few of my present and former classmates (2E2 08 Kamerad!). We actually played at the swing in the playground, while pouring water onto the occupants and causing a few near injuries (I got slapped in the back 3 times, it is effing audible.)

Today's NPCC was all drills, we had to, cause it is our last parade with Miss Goh. I screwed up my Marching , urgh....bloody hell. The parade was slightly emotional, although when we said our farewells, I almost (I said ALMOST, ALMOST!) cried, is there a problem with that? It was quite emotional, this is the 2nd time I saw her cry! I still regret not teasing Bhalaji during the group photo, but we were in our uniform, so no excuses, damn. After that, my squad was dumping chemicals and crushed ice into each and everyone of our bodies, lovely.

One more thing, Ms Goh, you rock, you are a source of inspiration and admiration to me and hopefully the rest of my squad as well, I am going to miss you. I do hope Mr Jit will be a good T.O as well.

Last day of the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Youth Leaders' Summit : (

If you are wondering, this is the card with the $1 dollar coin.

My name tag, don't ask about the correction tape! Don't ask me why is the picture repeating itself.

Hi guys, EXCEPT FOR YOU! NO HELLOS FOR YOU! No intro this time. (The pic on top is my Summit file.)

Got to school at around 6:45am, the buses were not as crowded as usual... Well, we did not get into the school, the gate was locked. So the group (all were present.) plus a few other sportsmen who were not with us, got onto a much bigger bus with Mr Su, the journey was like usual, around 30 minutes was needed, the Sportsmen were brought to Innova JC, while we got to Christ Church, Woodlands IS super 'ulu'.

We had our all expenses paid Breakfast (Well, not so, I had to pay $22.), Fried Mee tai mak and Soon Kueh (Vegetable dumplings I think.). All was well until I told Shaiful (Or more correctly, as I found out later, is Rezza.) that another name for the noodles is "Rat's tail", he gave me his remaining breakfast, I reluctantly ate it all up.

Then we had some emcee time with Ethan, our beloved 'Handsome'. Before having the Guest of Honour, Mr Teo Ser Luck, Senior Parlimentary secretary in the Ministry of blah blah blah blah bling bling blah. Got as few speeches before a forum (Q&A sesson in layman's terms.) I asked a question and no, I will not tell you what I asked. After that, (I almost fell asleep, well....not that bad lah.) We had lunch (All expenses paid, 15 ppl at each table, but must be of different schools.), but before that, we had to toss some Yu Sheng. The lunch was quite.....nice, with fried chicken and the like. All the tables were quite messy, especially after the Yu Sheng, we all had to clean up, although, only a few of us, I was the only guy, bothered to clean the VIP table, where representatives from each school and the Grown-ups (I am not sure what to address them as....don't kill me, please...)

After lunch, we were separated into two, one is the executive track (For prefects or 'counsellors', no offence guys.) and the Champion/Generalist track (For CCA leaders, counsellors & sports leaders.) Mine is the *** track (figure it out for yourself). In our training room, we had our 1st session with a War game, I forgot how it is played but all I know is that (Oh shit, I forgot, three people, Adli, Junson and Tamelia were in the exec track so they were separated from us.) my group (containing all the Bedok Viewans) had an alliance with another group, we won, okay fine! We did not win, but the other team, okay? At least we got some of the prizes. (Well, practically everyone in the room got the prizes, there were A LOT!)

After that, we had another session about different leaders having different managing skills, and we had to do some silly thing that tested our leadership skills without any hints, I took on an unofficial leadership role (everyone there was more enthusiastic than usual, so it was less restrained.) in leading the jumping jacks, one of the activites, then, when we had to do 10 jumping jacks while saying only the even numbers, a few more chipped in, Nigel, Jia Hao and Priscilla (From different schools). We soon did it sucessfully and We got ourselves a pen each, (Which I destroyed 'by accident'.)We had a tea-break before joining up with the exec guys(Who outnumbered us like shit.) at the hall.

After that, we had a couple more talks, the 1st one was by the chairman of the NKF, NOT DURAI! He then gave each of us a card with a $! coin on it, we were supposed to give it to someone who needs it (Like ur's truly, if you believe me YOU SUCK!). I do hope to get my CCA involved in this.

After two days and probably a few email addresses later, the summit was over, it was kinda sad, but, all good things must come to an end, whoever made that up, I must find him and perform a bloody lynching! Never mind about that, we walked to the nearest bus stop (Which was NOT NEAR AT ALL!), took a bus to Woodlands interchange before taking the MRT home, which took an aching 1 and a 1/2 hours to reach. After a HORRIBLE takeaway dinner, I turned on the PC and here I am, I hope.

PS: I am not sure why but during the tea break, as I asked for Priscilla's email, Junson actually thought I was wooing her, wah lau, impossible, and he was trying to get her number, I was freaking embarrassed in front of her and her friend, (The two were the only Nanyang girls' school delegates.) and crap, I forgot to tell her my name...

Missed 99.9% of the parade today...

Today, was lessons as usual, but during CME, we screwed up our skit, the script (Last minute.) did not do any good and we had to redo it, urgh god...... During FT, we had a change of sitting positions, I was lucky, I got to sit with Kai Ming, instead of one of the Girls, I was wise not to have chosen another lot.

We (Winata and I) had to leave early for some Leadership summit (Which I was the Substitute as Sariza could not make it. And worse, I had to carry her name tag! Luckily I have some correction tape with me.). We went with a few student counsellors (Including Saiful and Adil.) and the representatives for the Girl guides and NCC girls, the NCC boys rep actually 'Pongtang'ed the summit, what a waste!

As we all crowded in the Mercedes Benz people carrier, we actually got interested in some Canto movie which was shown on the Mercedes' entertainment system (A 16 inch TV in the front.) The 30 minutes actually passed by quickly, fyi the venue, Christ Church Secondary, is in Woodlands, and it is SUPER 'ulu'.

As soon as we arrived, a few freebies and a file for each of us later, we ate our lunch (At astronomical prices, no offence Christ Church guys (If you happen to stumble by my blog by sheer accident.)) Then went into the hall where the Emcee was trying to be as funny as Hossan Leong.

Overall the Summit was fun, we had 2 talks on leadership skills, and I got an Ang pow for answering a question at one of them : ) Then I played a Monopoly-like board game with a few guys and girls from other schools (All of us practically mixed alot.). I am looking forward to tomorrow's event. Although I will have to get there around the same time as usual during school days.

When I got back to school, I almost missed everything at NPCC except for the dismissal parade, I still haven't figured about the Bellhop role I was assigned to for some skit on Tuesday.....

I will stop right here, I need to sleep.

A 3 day long log

Friday 30-1-09

Lessons today are as usual, same old stuff that do not seem very significant. The Geography test was postponed, urgh! Unfortunately, I found out that I was chosen to become a red-dot ambassador and a Student counsellor, ARGH! I am busy enough with my life, I just begged Miss Ang to take out my name from the list of Counsellor applicants, thank god!

NPCC was as usual, but with the sec 1s around. We (meaning the sec 2s, 3s and NCOs) practised for the Change in command parade for Ms Goh (Who will be passing on the command to Mr Jit, not a very good reception there...). Today's training was more enjoyable than usual, with Eric Sir more cheerful than he usually is. After that, we had some ice-breaking games with the Sec 1s (For the first time in the Indoor sports hall.)before discussing about our Squad BBQ. Then, just as we thought we were about to be released, we had to run 2 rounds around the School field as a try-out for some sort of a NPCC inter-unit cross country run, I was one of the first in the first round but in the 2nd round, f*#k! My body let me down, I fell back like......ohhh forget it!

Once I got home, I showered, ate and collasped onto my bed.

Saturday 31-1-2009

Got flag day today, not a very good time for an anti-social like me.

Went to school at 11am to have lunch with some of my Sec 2 classmates, I got SCAMMED! $4 for a plate with 2 pieces of chicken and a little addition of french fries. The admin stuff before being released for our respective hot-spots (Tampines mall, century square (My spot), and Tampines CC (no one went there, no idea how to.)) was horrible. There was one girl ** ****, who kicked up a fuss because she wanted to be assigned to Tampines mall instead of Century Square, 'cause she wanted to watch a movie, screw her. This shit almost gave everyone who helped Zul and See Cheng (Including me), our leaders, a f*#king hard time. We got permission to solicit donations in Century square, my arse, thank god the Security guard was kind enough to tell us why we can't do it in the mall. We found out that even the Entrance was off-limits. At least I got a lot of kind-hearted people who gave me donations, unlike some people who did not, (With one complaining that he has been unemployed for 14 years and he had no help, what did I do?!) I got quite a sum, at least it is better than last year.... When we returned to school, it was not as bad, but still......it is a logistical nightmare.

When I got home, tired and sweaty, I had a relaxing shower before I had to go to Auntie May's (My mom's co-worker and friend.) condo for a Party. More like an adult class party. We met some of my Mother's co-workers, and more Ang Pows, : ) We had the party in one of the BBQ pit's but we used an electric grill and steamboat instead. How ironic.

Sunday 1-2-2009

Had tution today, had to wake up at 8am, walked for 20 minutes to reach the tution centre.
3 and a half hours of tution isn't making me very happy, although my English tution teacher gave me the book, 1984, to me for free, saying that people like me are quite rare nowadays. I hope to finish my current book quickly.

Got to go now, I have to study for 2 tests tomorrow.

Today.....

I am not sure how to start this post, but here I go...

Today there is not much to say, lessons as usual, at pure geog, my group got a box of Van Houten Chocolates after winning the Competition I previously talked about (I don't think you paid attention.). The boys are clamoring for their 'share', the only reason I gave them some of my share is because I got sick of them, bloody hell, I am a self-professed chocaholic!

Next up history, Ms Georgina Hua finally came, I was hoping that she would be a better history teacher for a change. But that lesson was all about introduction, her rules (Shit), dislikes and likes (Never got to that.) And Matin and I were mostly her targets, wah lau, I got worst. Once, when she was talking about the dress code, she...never mind, it goes something like this..."...outside you can wear a miniskirt, I will not treat you as if you are in school and say "Hey Swee Yik! Swee Yik!" (Pointing at me)" There was a pause before everyone laughed, it seemed forever, and I wished it was. Bloody hell, at least she should not have mentioned miniskirt, wah lau!

After recess, Mother tongue, then sub Chemistry, that was when I found out that I did not have to get my Copper Sulphate crystals on the day of the Chinese new year celebrations, lucky sia! Well...I got an A++ for the project, I felt truly satified at that time.

After that, there was e-maths, I was so confused with all the papers and I almost went of a slashing rage when Jia Wei hid my file, Faggot! At least I got them all sorted out.

Then we had to do some sort of CIP where we had to go door to door to give out Mandarin oranges and Handmade ('very nice') cards. We went up to our designated floors via the elevator, with Hazwan & gang pestering us on the way, fuck, they even pressed the buttons on almost every floor that the elevator is supposed to pass by, damn! Well, we finished our Cards, as we slid some of them under the units that were supposed to be unoccupied. Nabil even did something that left me speechless, he knocked a rotten orange over the edge of the corridor barrier from the 16th floor, ACROPHOBIA! But it was fun seeing the orange 'explode' when it hit the floor, strangely no one took notice of it, except for 'us'. We still have alot of leftover oranges thanks to Hazwan and gang, whom did their stuff in 'our' floors as well, arses...

I will need to go back and study again, got a test tomorrow.

First day of CNY, really BORING!

Well, I have nothing much to say.
Unlike previous times, I did not 'go back' to Malaysia, missing out Ang Pows in Ringgit and the chance to play firecrackers (Good times, good times.). Worse, I only have a handful of relatives in Singapore, the same generation in fact. Plus, none of them are married, ARGH!

So yesterday, my family had our reunion dinner at my father's god sister's home, she is in the same situation as us I think...never mind. We had a steamboat and 'teppanyaki' our own selection of 'stuff', my younger sister's the worst, who the hell pan-fries marshmellows?! It was all boring later on, just watching TV all the way till 0 hour, then, we (My dad and I.) popped our party poppers (In turn letting the confetti drop to the ground floor from our *Th floor flat.) and went to sleep.

Today, was pretty boring as well, put on our new clothes and went to Bugis for prayers at that large temple whose name I did not bother to remember, it did not happen however, the crowd was to big, so we went to a Monastery in Toa Payoh, I nearly Asphyxiated from all the incense, GAS ATTACK!, I just hope it's a holy blessing... After that, a slightly (Very) boring vegetarian lunch, here I am posting an ultra boring post while my younger sister is trying to snatch the Computer away from me, she sucks BIG TIME.
